There are few musicians in Waje’s class. Known for her strong voice and deep, thoughtful songs, Waje seems to have mastered the art of reinvention.

She was a host in the just concluded musical reality show The Voice and A’rese who she mentored won the show. Look through her Instagram page and you’d see her dishing out inspirational messages and good advice to her over 802,000 followers.

Her work with international NGO ONE organization is also worthy of note. She gave her reason for her philanthropic efforts in a recent interview. She said “I feel that every artiste is a messenger, and it’s most important that we use our brands to say preach the things that we believe in. And adding value to society is one of the things that we should believe in, in different ways that we can.”
